Story behind the song
I had a dream that I would meet a women playing a song I wrote but never released. In the dream I was walking down my street where I live and found her sitting on a front lawn playing guitar and singing my song. I told her I wrote that song, then I awoke.
Few years later while helping form a group with a female artist and cowriter I was auditioning a back-up vocalist for this project and in the audition she played a song I wrote and never released. She said she learned from a guy who turned out to be the cousin of the lead vocalist to the band I was in at the time. This is not what motivated me to write this song its just the second verse. The rest of the song would take to long to long but I think is pretty evident in the lyrics.
